I "destroyed" a polygon yesterday by deleting all except the last three points and then moving these remaining ones on top of one another. It became almost invisible.

That is something for me to think about. I have been really frstrated that I can't do anything with the last three points in many previous occasions. Thanks pitr.

What I once did in this regard is that:
I requested the tag to be deleted (it takes 19 hours
to delete when I request for it). Then I created
another tag a little distance from the original.
After that I copied everything given in 6 or 7
languages including descriptions, one by one pasting
everything in the new one.

After 19 hours, the old tag was gone, along with ALL
of its polygons. Then I moved the new tag in the place
of the now deleted tag.

It was very time consuming and difficult but it worked.

There are times when this BRUTE FORCE method is the
only option left. That is why I am sharing it.

"Strange airport"

- Maybe an old target mark for an air force exercises like bombing runs? I saw such weird stuff in US, China, Russia and DPRK.

"Roter Kamm Impact Crater"

- Amazing. Polygon added :)

The small part of land in the middle of your screen dissapear when u zoom in 1 level.
My polygon of Eyüp (District) is based on the more detailed map, and looks odd in the less detailed map.

"Is it a crater form due to underground nuclear test?"

- can't be. It's not a nuclear testing range and those are not subsidence crater formations. See <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.nuclearweaponarchive.org/Usa/Tests/Nts.html">www.nuclearweaponarchive.org/Usa/Tests/Nts.html<;!-- m --> to learn more about Nevada Test Site.

- Off Topic -
Do we really know what she is asking here? I saw her various posting to different threads late last night. I saw one with my name in it (can't find that thread at the moment). I know nothing about Hebrew, but just recognised my name was mentioned. I wrote to her and asked her what was the problem, She wrote back again in Hebrew although later send another message that her English was not good. But good enough to be able to write even that. I am reserving my judgment on this for the time being. I can see that her account is being limited now.

I keep wondering for the origin of straight lines which intersect here:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="wikimapia.org/#lat=-6.848459&;lon=108.070021&z=14&l=54&m=a&v=2">wikimapia.org/#lat=-6.848459&;lon ... 54&m=a&v=2<!-- m -->

I ever checked right in situ, but none was special there. !!!
Any suggestion? The location is near my village :)

re: Indonesia
It appears that the "lines" are caused by there being fewer trees there. The fact that they are so straight indicates they have probably been cleared by humans. I would be suspicious of an electric power line or something. Even if it is no longer there.

That person always tags stuff like that. They don't take the time to actually look stuff up. One of their tags which made me laugh was where they'd marked a former CLASSIC WIZARD site as a missile launchers.

My other absolute favorite are folks who mark somewhat mundane communications facilities as being used for spy satellites. Such was the case with this one, originally tagged as a "Spy Satellite Control Facility":

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.wikimapia.org/#lat=13.588527&;lon=144.840472&z=18&l=0&m=a&v=2&show=/7351328/Guam_Remote_Ground_Terminal_GRGT_NCTS_Guam">www.wikimapia.org/#lat=13.588527 ... _NCTS_Guam<!-- m -->

This is actually a NASA TRDSS facility, and it's used for communications with the Space Shuttle.
