That is annoying. Been there. Definitely not Russian, as the Americans who are serving in our military there now can certainly attest to.

Ken, have you [u:be6nij12]still[/u:be6nij12] not figured out that the top line (the one beginning with "World ...") doesn't say [b:be6nij12]squat[/b:be6nij12] about the place being [u:be6nij12]in[/u:be6nij12] anywhere, it only says a place is [i:be6nij12]near[/i:be6nij12] someplace else, and usually how far away.

Actually, that imagery has been up there for about four months at least - there was a year-plus old tag marking it that was deleted by user super3000 8 days ago which I have now un-deleted: wikimapia.org/#lat=42.3654151&;lo ... -Concordia

Any more-current images will show the ship missing its funnel and with a considerable amount of righting gear installed on her exposed Port side.

Current updates on the salvage can be found here:

The polygon is impressive but that's about it and as good as it's going to get from a one-off visitor. You on the other hand, could at least correct the title by changing it to mixed caps and moving the surplus data to the description field. BTW, don't forget to remove the name and telephone number too...

These ovals may appear to be artificial but they are actually natural formations known as "Carolina Bays".

There have been several theories about their formation. The class of theories that they are created by catastrophic meteor or comet impacts have generally been dismissed. That they may, in some cases be related to peri-glacial phenomena is strong currently. Surely they will produce many more doctoral and post-doc papers.

It always amazes me at how efficient and even artistic farmers can be as they till their lands. They don't waste a square foot.
