Thanks Martin.
(and that would be a good link to include in the tag; it offers at least some support, even if it is anonymous) |

| (Last post, very off topic, I was just on this part of the forum, and I wanted to post it somewhere. So I did it here.) |

| George it is no problem to show them here in this forum thread, but I doubt if there is anyone supporting the fact that you add these as tag (last example). |

| I'll figure how to drag and click the longitude and latitude on of these days. Until then I saw something interesting at Lat: 50.4451802 and long: -104.6837 |

@kencummings
You may copy and paste the complete URL of the map you saw here, it would be easier for us to see!
It's the Address found generally on top of your screen (http ://wikimapia...) |

kencummings- make sure you copy the entire url from the location bar.
It has to have http and :// (no spaces in between) to be a clickable link.
The location in your profile-
http ://wikimapia.org/#lat=38.4105583&lon=-122.6843262&z=15&l=0&m=h&v=2
I put a space between the http :// to keep it from becoming a link. When posted, the link strips the <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://">http://<!-- m --> from the tag.
It looks like this when posted-
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="wikimapia.org/#lat=38.4105583&lon=-122.6843262&z=15&l=0&m=h&v=2">wikimapia.org/#lat=38.4105583&lo ... =0&m=h&v=2<!-- m --> |

GeorgeGriffiths, Jabir99
I remember hearing about these; Google has many scattered all over Africa. They are photos taken (I think) by some National Geographic guys who flew the length of Africa in a small plane.
You can zoom in to z=23 on this herd of elephants: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="wikimapia.org/beta/#lat=10.9036864&lon=19.9331662&z=23&l=0&m=b&v=1">wikimapia.org/beta/#lat=10.90368 ... =0&m=b&v=1<!-- m --> |

You may post a code from 'Map on your page', by the way:

Yes I did notice the loading delay! :-(
Let's hope the rectangles presented are small enough! |

All: I suggest we don't include maps bigger than about 240 x 240 px, it could slow down page loading for some users. |

| I drew the aircraft, but would have preferred that the polygon was a bit smaller, because it is visible from a far away. |

A image overlay error, creating a disappearing highway trick. (Follow it northeast to southwest to see.)

| Actually, it seems like the overlay is fine, it's just that the highway wasn't even there at the time of northwestern photos... |
