| Those airplanes are there for recycling. The B-52 Stratofortress is out in the open, being "visibly destroyed" for a strategic arms treaty with Russia. The rest of them are being deconstructed for spare parts. |

Hello Aarslan, they first carve a wooden modell with the mantras and the picture of the "windhorse". From that they print on cloth in the five buddhist colors. They are either on a line above the house or over natural places. A special way of setting them up is suspending them from a pole in all directions like on above link. |

| Thanks Aldi1. I would love to see the actual photo of the place, but apparently that is not something easy to obtain. |

| Those giant slogans world_citizen posted in China were carved during the 10 years Cultural Revolution (1966-1976). At a time where political correctness and reverence to Mao Zedong were the tool to self survival. |

In my opinion, an interesting and illustrative manner of polygonning of a group of similar objects: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="wikimapia.org/#lat=55.8521073&lon=37.4750733&z=16&l=1&m=a&v=2">wikimapia.org/#lat=55.8521073&lo ... =1&m=a&v=2<!-- m --> (Sculptures and monuments of Park of Friendship) I think that this user (karaboz) positively deserves our recognition :-) |

| I did a similar job on solar panels in my neighborhood <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="wikimapia.org/#lat=52.3615477&lon=4.9354899&z=17&l=0&m=a&v=2&show=/7430748/Solar_Panels">wikimapia.org/#lat=52.3615477&lo ... lar_Panels<!-- m --> but karaboz' subject is much more interesting. I will keep an eye on this user! |

Not too far, very necessary against polluting terrorists like car owners. All wild life crossings are tagged in the Netherlands and in Belgium! |

re: "polygon art"
Have at look at that location with the Wikimapia layer, and ask yourself if that is the effect we want. |
