I don't know the english literacy so detailed, but in Hungary, the legal term "city" is bond to a number of criteria. So if these are not met, the "settlement" is called "village". So every "city" is a settlement, but not every settlement is a "city" <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
This actually causing me some headaches... in categories point of view, is a village with e.g. 1000 people should be considered a "city"? |

I think criteria given to 'city'; 'town'; 'village' or 'settlement' differs from country to county. If you think that is the definition given to places in Hungary you should given the category to the tag accordingly.

[color=#0000BF:1dxzr0mq]Translation from Marathi to English can be done but I have serious doubts about the name of the places. I have explored the maps of Malawi and Mozambique where most of these places are marked but could not find even a single name which matches.
There can be a way forward..............If someone from Malawi or Mozambique comes forward to identify the places, I can translate these places into English and then he/she can check those tags, then we can see, if these places are to be left here or deleted from the map.[/color:1dxzr0mq] |

I did a Google search for the translated names and only one gave a hit (and not in Africa), so I would tend to agree that they aren't real.
But I'm still curious ... do these names [Minnilkay, Karnah, Samrharay, Pirbadak, Tilimihiwak, Tarpayavan, Anhartak, Paulyastay, Pitkaray, Barkartan, Marnbhart, Shamyalesh, Parinat, Kartal, Warjang, Tapanvastu, Rewtakrandh, Magadhya, Bavatajarm, Khalvakosand] mean anything at all? Are they, possibly spelled slightly differently, personal names for example in some language?? |

| I checked other maps of Malawi, I could find no corresponding administrative divisions that matched these items in any way, shape or form. There were even more of these fake items than there are actual state in Malawi itself. It was probably just someone's fantasy. Besides, if you check the user's history, these items were the only contributions they made more than a year ago............ |
