| Users "level 1" have been limited ablility to mark places for deletion (like now we are only able to delete 5 places as long as being user "level 1"). I think it's not fair! Admin should restrict only 5-10 places marked per day. That's enough to prevent vandalism because when we mark some places for deletion, it will be deleted in 8 days. During that time, advanced users have enough time to verify it. They will confirm or cancel it. Thanks! |

Less a month old users will have 10 active deletions (per week)
Less a two month old users will have 25 active deletions (per week)
Other non-privileged users 75 active deletions.

I was going to say that you should always see the option, but you'd get a message saying you can't delete if you tried. At least I think that's the way it used to work.
Now it appears that you are not even shown the option if it doesn't apply to you. And probably the schedule of active deletions has been revised once again.
In your case I'm guessing you are not quite meeting the exact criteria and should wait at least another day or two and see what happens. |

I think within the last few hours you have requested deletion of many places. There is a limit a level 1 user can delete in one go. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact number. I am sure other users could remind me. You just have to wait till next time for more deletions. Alternately you could ask level 2 users to confirm your deletions and this way can help to speed up the process to a small degree.
As to protect your created tags, this privilege is only given to UL2. Also there is not even this protection for road edit no matter what level status of that user. |

yesterday i saw your user name as the one who will delete this <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="wikimapia.org/1941223/deleted">wikimapia.org/1941223/deleted<;!-- m --> posting and I saw its countdown starting from 72 minutes down to 0 seconds. Sir why is it not still deleted? thou it has notice that says it will be deleted in a few weeks. It's been years that i saw its notice but up to now it is still showing up. bty, sir thanks for the prompt response yesterday. :) |

Hi!
In my opinion, all the infos from the place tag should have been erased before deleting it...
There is one thing that Wikimapia cannot do and it's to erase the infos given by Google Search :-(
Google makes its updates once a month or once per 2 months I think so chances are you will still find stuff there for a while sadly :-(
Let me undelete the place, clear it of all the infos, move it to another location and delete it once again; this will at least make you feel a little bit more comfortable I think. |

It usually takes 8 days for deletions to be actioned for Level 1 users like yourself. There is also a set quota for the amount of deletions you can request, however, I do not know the figures for the allowance.

Maybe you have a quota of about 75 deletion.
To know when you can remove more, you can check on your profile in the "Delete object requests" and then check to 8 days ago is already deleted all.
You can also set the number of deletion for example 5 times the deletions of every day, the rest could be used which is really important, with consideration on the eighth day, your quotas still exist, then the next day you still can delete.
You also may request assistance from other users to delete a place:

Here, I came across a user "sumitsimple"
and going through his history I found most of his additions were either non existent while rest few were individual houses without any useful information. All his markings were full of abuses and F-words.
