Principal Miss Saraswati Menon (ammal) of SIWS High School and Headmaster Mr. S. Ramakrishnan of SIES High School were long-time residents. Through the 70s and 80s, lots of boys and girls from all nearby buildings used to congregate at Paradise No. 1 for playing in the evenings in the terrace, compound or the nice triangular centre space inside.
