Company Background

Ian Springford Architects Ltd were established in January 2000.

The practice is based in Edinburgh with projects across Scotland and the UK.

The practice provides a full range of design services from initial briefing stages through to site administration.

Resources

All projects are managed by a dedicated project architect and supplemented by additional team members where required.

The practice invests heavily in information technology to improve efficiency, accuracy and collaboration between other members of the design team. Each member of staff has a dedicated work station running CAD, e-mail and office applications.

The practice is a registered member of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) and Royal Incorporation of British Architects (RIBA). The practice subscribes to the National Building Specification Service to ensure our technical specification information is current and complies with the latest British and European Standards.

Provide effective and reliable architectural services to satisfy the expectations and needs of our clients which will result in the proper implementation of building projects.
Undertake all architectural design and other related activities necessary to meet the above objectives in the most efficient manner possible in terms of time, resources and cost.
Monitor the effectiveness of our Quality Management System by a schedule of internal quality audits and reviews.
Provide training as appropriate for personnel performing activities affecting quality.
