  And in the pre-revolutionary Tehran this district was knowing for its numerous dives, boîtes where semi-naked gorgeous Persian women belly-dancd dressed in yashmaks and with zills in their hands. And the interior of those boîtes was laid out with kilims with gul on them and thre was a saccharine sound of a bulbul to this belly-dancing.
