First written mention is from 1377. A that time was the owner Linhart z Rovného. In 1592 was Alžbeta Supovna from Fulštej named an owner of the Albrechtice. Later the Albrechtice estates devolved on her son Jan Kryštof. After the battle of Bíla hora was Jan Kryštof banished from the country and his estates were confiscated in a favour of emperor. In 1623 Albrechtice estates were taken over by Jesuits from Nisa. In 1625 Jan Kryštofov returned, took over the Albrechtice and forced out the Jesuit missionaries but for this act was imprisoned for two years. Jesuits returned again. In 1776 empress Marie Terezie enthroned the Albrechtice to municipal city. Long time coexistence of Czechs and Germans is inherent part of history of Albrechtice which was unfortunately changed by World War II.
