  • This entry is misleading, but is protected so I can't edit it. This is NOT Siliguri station, its New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP). Siliguri Town (SGUT) and Siliguri Junction (SGUJ) stations are 4 kn and 6kn North of here. Sean Emmett
  • I have now been able to edit the entry. Note that as of October 2011 the Toy train in not running from here due to washouts further up the line. There appears to be a Safari trin operating from Siliguri Junction (SGUJ) to Rangtong (RTG), services between Kurseong (KGN) and Darjeeling (DJ) and the Joy (steam) trains operating from the Darjeeling end to Ghoom (GHUM). For up to date information I suggest you check the Darjeeeling Himalayan Railway Society's website as this has been much more up to date than Indian Railways in explaining the current position. http://www.dhrs.org/news_from_the_line.htm
