    The sprawling park in the cantonment, which is open to civilians also, is no less than an oasis and the only well-maintained place for recreation for the local population. There are exquisite gardens in the park, with wide collection of flowering plants. It is a popular picnic place for people of all ages. The park is a unique destination in Bathinda because it offers facilities such as zip lining, water balling, dinosaur park, boating, horse riding, live jazz bands on Sundays and an obstacle course for children. Such activities are not available anywhere else in the city. The park also houses a nursery where people can buy exotic plants at reasonable rates

    Chetak Park is a beautiful nature park with three lakes and lots of fun activities such as boating, kayaking, Go Karting, Water Zorbing, Zip Lining , Archery and a mini obstacle course for children. It also has a mini zoo and lots of parking place. The Chetak Park is maintained by the Army and has something to offer to people of all ages. Best time to visit is on a sunday when there is a live band though the rush is greater on this day. The park remains closed on Mondays.
