It's a small dense forest preserved to keep the Holy Fire going at Ramdhuni. Folklores say that When Lord Ram was on a tour to Barahkshetra, He made this fire here. And the fire has never extinguished since then. The forest serves a home to many insects, birds and animals, too. It's a dense sal forest. Every year on Ram Nawami a huge fair is observed. Ram Nawami and Bijaya Dashami are taken as very important occasions here.
