  • Carbon Simorgh was the executor of CARBON SIMORGH PLANT – the producer of Carbon Black in different grades with the capacity of 42,000 tons³ per year – project in the area of 16.5 hectares, located in Mahallat of I. R. Iran. C. S. investment was provided by the domestic nine-fold rubber/tire producers and allotted funds from the country's foreign exchange reserves, amounting to 220,000,000 €, with the cooperation of Sepah bank and the 250,000,000,000 Rials taken loans. This project execution was started early in 2004. By exploiting the world's latest technology, this production unit is one of the qualified and high capacity carbon black producers in the Middle East. As soon as the contract was concluded with the elected oversea contactor – Eurotecnica Contractors and Engineers S.p.A., the equipment and machineries (almost European made) were delivered to C. S. C. in the mid 2005 and from the beginning of 2006, after the site primary preparations done, they were installed, under the Contractors supervision, locally. The following activities have been done during the project execution, totally; Civil works; 3,000 m³ foundation and 12,000 m² as structure, mechanical works; 8,000 tons machineries plus equipment and steel structure (domestic and foreign erected), carbon steel/stainless steel piping; 100,000 inch/dia, coating/painting; 60,000 m², insulation; 40,000 m², electrical works, including the devices installation and cabling; 100 km., instrument, including the devices installation and cabling; 80 km. and the installation of the direct control system (D. C. S.)
