  • If you want to have a de-stressful time at CBRC, DO NOT go there on a Wednesday late afternoon around 4pm - 5pm. Today, Wednesday March, 23rd 2016, was the first time since I joined this club to use the gym around this specific time. My usual gym time is weekdays in the early morning. Intended to use the pool but the moment I entered the indoor pool area, I thought I was in Little Chinatown. Chinese mothers were talking loudly to others from their mainland while their children were taking swimming lessons. So, instead of using the pool, I went to the steam room. At around 5pm, while I was taking my shower, a Chinese girl, around the aged of 7 yrs, undrawn my shower curtain and stood there for a few seconds before I shooed her away. She left with my shower curtain wide open. After my shower, I saw her with her mother. Told her mother about the incident and advised her to talk to her daughter about invasion of privacy and to apologize for her wrong doings. Instead of apologizing, she said, "She's only a child and she was looking for me." And then, she pickup her daughter and carried her on her hip!!! Being a mother of 2 grown-up children, and as a medical professional, I had dealt with thousands of children, I have no tolerance and/or patience for parents who do not discipline their children then they had done something wrong. There is a saying among us, New Yorkers......You can take the Chinese out of China but you can NEVER take China out of the Chinese people. Meaning, they will never leave their Chinese mentality behind. ?Chinese mentality.........selfish, dirty, greedy, connive, untrustworthy, dishonest and lazy. Therefore, to avoid situations like this, avoid days and areas where the Mainland Chinese gathers.
