  • In 1904, a small Leprosy home was established to cater to the needs of Leprosy patients who had been driven away from their homes. Gradually it became a hospital of 40 Beds. Currently the hospital has 60 beds. For a century, thousands of patients from several districts of Bihar and adjacent states received treatment for Leprosy and General ailments from the Hospital. The hospital has good patronage from the Government and the general Public. The service of the hospital is continually being improvised in equality to meet the growing Medical needs of the people affected by leprosy. At present, hospital has out patient department and inpatient department with having facilities of Pharmacy, Laboratory, Med. Records, Physiotherapy, counselling & Nursing with 24 hours care.
