Great walleye lake with the largest muskie in the state of Minnesota (unconfirmed); two local fisherman have claimed to have had 60+ inch muskie on the line, up to the boat, and then broke the line to get away...

  • The spelling should be Deer Lake
  • My brother had a picture of that giant muskie on his phone and showed it to me. He had his hand on the fishes head and the distance between the fishes eyes and the tip of the fish was bigger than my brother's hand (my brother is 6'2"; not a little kid). The fish is huge and I pretty much guarantee that it is a state record. My uncle had it on the line and after a couple of hours of fighting it and being unable to lift the fish into the boat he decided to just let it be... Other's muskies swim through the passes between the many islands and are amazing to see... Walleyes are great on this lake and can be found in many locations around sumberged islands, rockpiles, and sudden drop offs.
  • the spelling is NOT Deer Lake, it really is Deere Lake You are a dumbass Grant.
