Lenino-Snegiri historical museum of the Second World War (Lenino)

Devoted to the 16th Army (headed by K.Rokossovskiy), and specifically the 78th infantry division (headed by Colonel A.Beloborodov)а. this museum exhibits documents and relics of the Great Patriotic War (Second World War in Russia).
It occupies a former school building and was founded by I.Usanevich in 1969.

In 2010, a fire destroyed much of the premises and over two thirds of the exhibits, including unique documents and some personal effects of soldiers and officers who were fighting here protecting the way to Moscow against 2nd SS Panzer Division "Das Reich", 10th Panzer Division, 252th and 87th Wehrmacht infantry divisions.

There is also a library on the premises.
