Supaul Bazar is an important commercial hub in the Biraul subdivision of Darbhanga, India. People from remote areas often visit it in order to purchase goods espacially on saturday. On every saturday a huge crowd come from thousands of villages around the Supaul to purchase from HAAT. Supaul Bazar is located approximately 45 kilometres east of Darbhanga. Supaul Bazar is composed of Afzala, Khewa, Ziraat, Shaikhpura, Biraul, Haat Gaachhi, and Tolwa. The population of the subdivision as per the 2001 census is 755,871. Agriculture is the primary occupation of the majority of the population of this district. There are a huge amount of educated people in Supaul Bazar. The occupation is mainly doctor, engineer,Govt services and many more can be seen. We proud that Supaul has given a cancer scientist to the world, Dr. Inamul Haque is doing reseach on Cancer in USA. The main small industries of this district are Choora Mills and Bricks Bhatta.

There are several schools in Supaul Bazar. The Govt. Onkar High School, which is providing secondary education in the area since 1939. A Govt. Degree college named Janta Koshi College is located at nearby Biraul.
Apart from this Universal public school and Saraswati shishu mandir are also prominent private schools in Supaul Bazar. The place is very close to famous Shiva temple Kusheshwarsthan.
The Al-Mahad-Ul Islami Islamia School was founded by the late Dr. Lutfullah Sahab.
