This former imperial railway station, where Napoleon III used to arrive when he came to Biarritz, is now a busy festival and arts centre. Since it opened in 1991, the Gare du Midi, right in the heart of Biarritz, 5 minutes' walk from the other conference centres, conceals modern fittings and state-of-the-art technical equipment behind an Art Nouveau façade.
