Belvoir is a small hamlet, mainly site of Belvoir Castle, in the northern-eastern part of the county of Leicestershire, in the Melton district, just eight miles west of Grantham.
Belvoir is seat of Dukes of Rutland since Henry VIII's time, present Belvoir Castle was built in 1816. You can to admire its battlements, towers, golden-toned stone, commanding hilltop site overlooking beautiful Vale of Belvoir, pictures and fine furniture in staterooms, interesting kitchen and cellars and lovely gardens.
