Sculptors are Makar Vronsky and Alexanderк Skoblikov, architect — Ivan Lanko.
The monument contains stamped names of the ships distinguished themselves during the Civil War in Russia and the Great Patriotic War (World War II).
Due to the the reconstruction of the transport interchange the monument was dismantled in August 2012 and moved to Rybalskyi Island.
