Brandy Bottom Colliery

Closed in 1936. It was part of the Parkfield Colliery which lies to the north. The site is overgrown but there is a well preserved chimney together with a Cornish engine house and other buildings. It's easily accesible from the path which runs by it on the old Midland railway trackbed from Mangotsfield. A winding wheel from a Colliery headgear has been cut in half and is set on either side of the path.
