Tacoma Public Schools. The former school site used to be at the northwest corner of this lot. The new building was built at the current eastern edge of the property and the old building was torn down. The original Edison School was built in the 1890s, part of which still exists near the middle of the campus. The elementary school shares its property with Gray Middle School at the southwest corner, however a new Gray Middle School is currently being built at the old Mt. Tahoma High School site west of here. Edison will inherit all of the property once this move is complete.
