Although officially designated by the municipality as Al Tabbiyah, the area is still recognized by Abu Dhabi residents, especially Emiratis, as Al Zaab. The colony was created by HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for the tribe of Al Zaab in 1970, after half of the tribe under the leadership of HE Sheikh Hussein bin Rahma Al Zaabi moved from the "Al-Jazeerah Al-Hamra (Red Island)" town in Ras Al Khaimah following disagreements with the rulers of Ras Al Khaimah. Members of the Al-Zaabi tribe that now live in Abu Dhabi include more than 600 Households and they are considered an integral of the Abu Dhabi Emirati Society.

  • Why to remove this area it one of the imporatant erea in ABu Dhabi????
  • dont include include RAK area with za3ab law sama7t
  • THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE OFFICIAL BORDERS OF A CERTAIN MUNICIPAL DISTRICT. THIS IS ABOUT THE TRADITIONAL SETTLEMENT, BECAUSE, ANYWAY, OFFICIALLY THIS DISTRICT IS CALLED AL TABBIYAH. SO IF THE AUTHORITIES OF THE AL ZAAB COLONY VIEW NEIGHBOURING AREAS AS PARTS OF THE AL ZAAB, IT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN AL ZAAB AS HERE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT AL ZAAB.
  • ad patrol, what's the point in deleting vital information?
