Here was a childrens' sanatorium in the 70's, but two years after its opening, they found some bacteria/or parasite in the water and the sanatorium was closed - it never functioned again. In 2004, the developer KM-Development showed up and used the existing infrastructure to create a Luxe-class cottage village. (The homes have sold poorly - price is inflated, and the view is of multistory apartments in nearby Novoperedelkino, not to mention the constant noise from airplanes at Vnukovo airport.)
