Raachine (two thrones in Arabic) is situated in the region of Kesrouan in the Mount Lebanon at an altitude of 1300m to 1500m above sea level, and beholds breathtaking simultaneous sea and mountain views. It is an ideal area for growing grapes, with short, wet, and cold winters and very dry, hot summers. The area has been planted with vines since the times of the Phoenicians.
