Cathedral of the Child Jesus

The cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Lusaka was dedicated on April 30, 2006.

Pope John Paul II celebrated mass here on May 2, 1989 which was an open field at the time. On May 4 he returned to the site to bless the foundation stone of the future cathedral.
