  I have been down to the basin creek falls in october 2012. They were in full flow when I did the walk down. I crossed the creek bed and stood nearly under these falls. I got some great photo's of the track down and the deep swimming pool underneath these falls. I was quite surprised as I have been to a few falls in the area and these falls were quite wide and flowing fast.

  I love this spot. Especially when you can stand under the falls. The water hole beneath the falls is quite deep. Good spot to go swimming. The walk down to the falls is quite steep and overgrown but quite an enjoyable walk there and back. I didn't find it too hard a walk. There is a lovely view over the snowy river which is probably half way down on the walking track.
