Dreaded Richmond Hill Prison where persons opposed to Gairy, Bishop, or Coard received "heavy manners". US Rangers and Delta force attepted an assault on this prison on Oct. 25th 1983 but were repulsed with heavy casualties by anti-aircraft fire from Ft. Frederick 500 meters to the east.
