Where there are well planned areas, it has been possible to maintain population of Union Councils within the defined parameters and the contours have been more or less kept straight. On the other hand, the areas that include katchi abadis, population as well as the boundaries were defined by the Census Circles as these katchi abadis have grown without and proper planning. Examples would be Union Councils Muzzafarabad, Muslimabad, Dawood Chorangi, & Moinabad. Furthermore, even in planned areas, where there is thick population, even small areas have led to population of 60,000+ such as Union Council Awami Colony derives its peculiar shape due to constraints places by the lack of any population in adjacent Census Circles of Union Council Sharafi Goth.
