Hot air airships took off from this field at the 8th World Hot Air Airship Championship on Sunday evening June 22; landed also. On Monday morning June 23 2008 the airship took off for a flight to a small airport near Hatsina. On Thursday evening June 27 the airships took off, competed and landed here.
