park, peninsula
The Leschenault peninsula is a nature reserve also known as Belvidere. It is believed to be one of the first settlements in the Southwest region. The history of the Leschenault peninsula ranges from a horse and water buffalo farm with Indian workers in the 1800s to, more recently, a site for alternative lifestyler hippies to escape from the rest of the world.
