Erfurt's Predigerkirche is a 13th century church. Originally built by the Dominican order, after the Reformation it became a Protestant church. Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706), the composer of the famous Canon, worked as organist here from 1678 to 1690. Adjacent to the church is the friary, Predigerkloster.
