Kalinagar, is located 7 K.M from centre, And, located right behind the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). This place is named after goddess Kaali(according to the Hindu mythology Goddess Kali is the first of the ten incarnations of Goddess Durga).
Most of the intellectual people resides here, they celebrate all the festive throughout the year. " Kaali pooja " is one of the main attraction of this place which is being celebrated on the Amavasya or the no moon night in the Hindu month of Kartik (October/November). This date of Kali Pooja coincides with Diwali, the North Indian New Year or the Festivals of Lights.
