AKA Mundaring Weir across Helena River. This Reservoir was built in the late 1890s to provide drinking water for the Goldfields and Kalgoorie. The lake itself was, until recently, known as Helena River Reservoir, but is now known as Lake C Y O'Connor, after it's main architect.
