Ramadheen College is a constituent unit of Bhagalpur University and imparts education in almost all subjects in Arts and Science up to Post Graduate level.Being one of the founders of this college I desire that the University should introduce Commerce as well as Law studies in this college.

  • I met Shri Baiju Yadav at Sheikhpura railway station. There we decided to start a college. We went to the residence of the Headmaster of Islamia H.E.Shool Shri Khairat Ahmad.A notice calling a meeting was drafted there and the same day meeting was held at the residence of Dr.Lakshmi at Katra Chowk. It was resolved to enroll those students in I year and III year classes free of any charge and start the college in the building of D.M.H.E.School. The entrusted work was carried out very smoothly. The next meeting was attended by Shri Shankar Singh s/o Dr.Shri Krishna Singh Ex Chief Minister of Bihar and Shri Rajo Singh.A team of five persons including myself headedby Shri Shankar Singh went to the businessmen and collected a sum of rupees 50 lakhs. Dr.Kaushalendra Kumar Sinha was deputed to the Bhagalpur University with the money to deposit it as affiliation fees. Shri Budhinath Jha Kairav of Deoghar Vidyapeeth and Dr. Parmanad Head Of Deptt.of History, Bhagalpur University were deputed to inspect the proposed Sheikhpura College. They stayed at the Dak bangalow. They inspected the college and dictated the inspection report to me.I got that typed at D.M.School and handed that to one of them. The same time one Shri Ramadhin Singh reached there with a bag of one lakh fifty thosands and requested me to keep the amount so that the college is named after his name. It was getting night so I did not accept the money and arranged his stay for the night with inspectors at Dr. Sukhdeo Singh's residence on station road. The next morning the amount was deposited in the Bank. In the next meeting it was resolved to name the college as Ramadhin Singh College.The college was given affiliation up to degree standard in Arts and Science. Gradually the University started Post Graduate teaching in almost all the subjects in Arts and Science.I request the University authorities to start Commerce and Law teachings in this college at the earliest.
  • there must be one constituent ladies college in the district headquater.i am surprised that there is no constituent college for ladies. my advice or request is to make SGSM ladies college sheikhpura as costituent college for the bright future of the girls.
