The United Reformed Church was created in 1972 by joining together the Congregational Church in England and Wales and the Presbyterian Church in England. In 1981 Churches of Christ united with the United Reformed Church and in April 2000 the Congregational Church in Scotland united with us. Christ Church forms part of the Cambridge District within the Eastern Synod of the URC and has a small but active membership.
