Westview Cemetery was established on Atlanta's west side when Oakland Cemetery was mostly filled out in the 1880s.
It is one of the largest cemeteries in the south, and for many years was completely segregated before being opened to all races.
Tombs here include L.P. Grant, furniture magnates Haverty & Rhodes, the entire Adair clan, Joel Chandler Harris and a large Confederate veteran memorial. The Woodruffs of Coca Cola are also buried there.
