The South China Mall is the world's largest mall building in Dongguan, China. It opened in 2005 and has leasable space for over 1,500 stores in approvimately 600,000 square metres of total floor area. However, it is famously almost entirely empty, with only 0.8% occupancy.

It has seven zones modeled on international cities, nations, and regions, including Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Venice, Egypt, the Caribbean, and California.
