The facility provides research and instruction facilities for recording, signal processing, editing, and mastering sound recordings for use in standalone and multimedia productions. The studio is designed to be an open resource for students involved in Entertainment Industry Center studies and encourages collaboration among many different disciplines.
The History of the Studio
The Entertainment Industry Center Recording Studio has been operating since 1993 and has undergone several different modifications with the help and cooperation of University of North Alabama students, many of them volunteers. The studio has been the starting point for many successful audio engineering, production, and multimedia careers. It is hoped that the Entertainment Industry Center Recording Studio would be a continual source of pride for the University of North Alabama.
