RUS-FIN border was situated here duo to Moscow Peacle Treaty. It goes on so called "Vasilevsky line" .

Moscow Peace Treaty, witch was confirmed Paris Peace Treaty in 1947, was signed from USSR's Contracting Party by comrades Molotov, Zhdanov and chief deputy of Directorate of Operations of General Staff of Red Army brigade commander Vasilevsky.

Aleksandr Mikhaylovich Vasilevsky was the Soviet Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister of Defense during World War II. He was awarded two Orders of Victory, the highest military decoration in the Soviet Union, and one of the rarest orders in the world. Only Stalin, Zhukov and Vasilevsky had that Order twice.

Aleksandr Mikhaylovich Vasilevsky was a president of co-operative Soviet-Finnish Demarkation Team, and every border sign was built on the border thanks to consent of Vasilevsky.
