Building 9A (Station for oxidizer refueling)

This station was used former for refueling of the surface to air missile V-300 of the air defense system S-25 "Berkut" (NATO reporting name: SA-1 Guild) with Inhibited Red Fuming Nitric Acid (IRFNA) which is a mix of concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid. IRFNA was used until the late 80s in the rocketry as oxidizer (e.g. at rocket upper stage Agena and as one of 3 liquid fuel components for the BOMARC missile).
