Both the brothers were renowned public figures of Saran District. While Shri Prasidh Narayan Sinha was instrmental in making Rajput School one of the most disiplined and famous educational institutions of Saran District he was instrumental in founding of Jagdam College and guided as honorary principal of the college in its begining. Shri Biresh Dutt Sinha was also MLA from Saran in 1937.

  • Late Shri Prasidh Narayan Singh (1899 -1992) was Principal of Rajput School from 1930 to 1963. With a degree in Law from Calcutta University, he was a regular member of Jury. His elder brother, Late Biresh Dutt Sinha, Advocate was a freedom fighter and went to jail twice during the freedom movement. A follower of Mahatma Gandhi, he was President of Saran District Harijan Sewak Samaj. He was also for a short period Chairman of Chapra Municipality. Both the brothers were renowned public figures of the District.
