El Grillo Archaeological Site-Zone

Mounds and/or pyramids and/or other built prehispanic complexes already in a disturbed state due to the urban expansion of Zapopan. The site dates to the Late Classic, Epi-Classic, and Postclassic periods though more research needs to be done. There is an "isolated" circular mound/circular pyramid at a nearby small public park included within the "site boundaries".
