Elâzığ Province (Kurdish: Elezîz) is a province of Turkey with its seat in the city of Elâzığ. The source of the Euphrates river is located in this province.
The western part of the province, including the city of Elazig is mostly turkish, and the eastern part (East of Lake Hazar and the Keban Reservoir) is mostly kurdish.

The province had a population of 552,646 in 2010. The population of the province was 569,616 in 2000 and 498,225 in 1990. The total area of the province is 9,153 square kilometres (3,534 sq mi), 826 km2 (319 sq mi) of which is covered by reservoirs and natural lakes.

The Turkish province of Elazığ, consists of 11 districts:
Ağın, Alacakaya, Arıcak, Baskil, (Central) Elazığ, Karakoçan, Keban, Kovancılar, Maden, Palu and Sivrice. Mainly corresponds to Tzopk (Sophena) province of Historical Armenia
