Chakkar is a Village Development Committee in Dhanusa District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,419 persons residing in 799 individual households.
Chakkar is a beautiful valley of Distt Muzaffarabad/AzadKashmir. There is a beautiful lake , which occured with Earth-Quake 8th October 2005. people come from faraway to see this lake.
