Ratlam is famous for its Ratlami Sev, Gold,Cotton & Railways. It wa formerly part of Malva regency and princely state of Ratan Singh and then known as Ratnapuri. It is an important junction of Western Railway coneccting the North and Western Part of India.Many places near it are worth visiting.....like the famous cactus garden of Sailana , Kedareshwar temple , and many more....
