  • I WISH I COULD VISIT THIS PLACE AND GIVE MY RESPECT AND HONOUR . RIP
  • Pay my respects and honour to Sargent Steele who died in late 1955 whom I took to BMH Nicosia mortuary for burial. I was the last person to see him alive and would deem it a honour to be able to go and pay my respect in person as I am now a resident in Southern Cyprus. Would be grateful to anyone whom would advise me how I can achieve this. Micheal Smith T/2300558 dvr mj smith released Feb.1956
  • My 4 year old sister is buried there. Our Dad was a Staff Sergeant at the time. She died on 19th October 1956 of diptheria. Been back many times to visit. First time we went to the British High Commission in Nicosia. They close at 12 noon. Arrangements then made to be picked up by UN Sergeant Major a few days later to transport us from Ledra Palace through 'No-mans' land to the cemetry. They are always very aware and compassionate. Hope this helps.
