Moses Monastery - Mousa a follower of Jesus who ran from Ethiopia and lived in Qara - near Nabk - then he found his refuge in a observatory Roman Tower - Deir Marmusa -, this place was re-discovered by brother Paolo of Italy in the 1990ies, who renvoated the place, spoke fluent Syrian dialect and hosted plenty of peace seekers and believers. Now during the Syrian Civil war, Paolo was forced to leave and whether the monastery still hosts peaceful life - who knows??
